- For bookings with pickups within 3 hours, please call us on +442 032 220 069.
- All airport/seaport pickup bookings are strongly advised to pay in advance using our secure online credit/debit card payment facility if possible.
- Please note that babies are counted as passengers, which is important when considering the size of the vehicle you wish to choose.
- We can provide a baby/booster or infant seat for an extra charge of £5.00 each if requested at the time of booking. The passenger must specify the child’s age in the comment section of the booking form. Our saloon & estate cars can only carry a single child seat; if you need a second child seat, you must book an MPV or a larger vehicle.
- Please note that we provide child seats as a courtesy service. While we make every effort to ensure child seats are available, we cannot guarantee their suitability for your child or their availability for your journey. The usage of child seats is entirely at the passenger’s discretion, and we cannot be held responsible or liable for their usage.
- Additional drop-offs and pickups will be charged per mile, with a minimum fee of £2 per diversion.
- Passengers are strongly advised to allow enough time for their journey, especially passengers traveling to the airport.
- All pickups from airports and cruise ports are allowed 30 minutes free from the landing time/docking time. Our driver will enter the airport/seaport 20 minutes after the landing time and wait there for 30 minutes for free. Thereafter, waiting time will be charged at £24.00 for every hour. Flight delays are exempt from this charge.
- Pickups from home, hotels, offices, and other venues are allowed 10 minutes from the actual booked time; thereafter, 40p per minute (minimum £3.00) will be added to the quoted fare.
- Please call our office if you cannot locate our driver at the appointed meeting point on +442 032 220 069.
- If the passenger misses a flight, this information must be informed to us immediately so that we can notify the driver not to enter the airport for that pickup. If the journey was pre-paid, it will be refunded after deducting £6.00 for bank charges. However, if the passenger wishes to take a later flight, we will provide the service at no extra cost.
- All prices are quoted per car.
- No show is defined as follows: If a passenger books a private hire car with us and fails to meet the driver at the pickup time, including home, hotel, and other private addresses.
- If a passenger books a pickup from an airport and fails to meet the driver in the arrival hall, the driver will wait at the airport for up to 1 hour 30 minutes from the flight landing time. If the passenger fails to meet within this time limit or make contact to inform their status at the airport, it will be considered a no show.
- No responsibilities for costs are to be refunded to any passengers who do not wait for their driver and take alternative transport.
- Please ensure you provide us with your arrival time and day in the UK, not your departing information.
- Our saloon and estate cars are insured for a maximum of 4 passengers.
- Our MPVs (Many people Carrier) are insured for a maximum of 6 passengers.
- It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they order the correct type of vehicle to carry the number of passengers and luggage.
- We reserve the right to refuse any passenger our services due to excess luggage, which would result in the vehicle being unsafe on the road.
- Passengers are responsible for loading and unloading their belongings, and we will not accept liability for loss or damage to luggage.
- Cancellations must be notified to us 24 hours prior to the pickup time if you’re within London postcodes. You are required to inform us 48 hours prior if you are from outer areas.
- The driver will take the route to the destination by considering the following factors: traffic, time, road closures, diversions.
- Smooth Airport Transfers LTD does not accept any responsibility for missed flights for whatever reason, including traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather conditions, or any unforeseen circumstances.
- All passengers are advised to have adequate travel insurance prior to booking.
- Payment on this site is processed via a secure server.
- A booking/reservation may only be altered or cancelled with the permission of the company. This can be done by email or by phone.
- Cancellations informed between 3 and 12 hours prior to pick up time will incur a £5 cancellation charge. Cancellations informed between 4 to 2 hours prior to the journey will incur 50% of the booking price.
- Cancellation not informed up to 2 hours before pick up time will incur 100% of the booking price.
- Any messages or descriptions on this website are to be seen only as guides and are not legally binding.
- Smooth Airport Transfers LTD reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any terms and conditions previously in use but later amended or changed have no legal basis.
- Illustrations, photographs, and descriptions on the website, brochures, pricelists, or documents serve merely as a guide and will not be binding.
- The company reserves the right to make use of subcontractors to provide the service to the passengers. These subcontractors will be able to provide a high quality of service and will be licensed and comply with the regulations stipulated by the Public Carriage Office.
- No reservation is considered accepted until confirmed by email and the passenger has been issued with a reference number.
- All online “cash bookings” made 36 hours before the booking date must be reconfirmed 24 hours prior to the pickup time.
- No car will be sent out for online cash bookings if we do not receive reconfirmation, if booked with incorrect information, or if the passenger cannot be contacted at least 6 hours prior to the pickup time.

- Prices on the following dates, 24th December from 18:00 hours to 26th December 23:59 hours and 31st December 18:00 Hours to 1st January 23:59 hours, will be charged at 50% higher than normal prices.
- All our prices are exclusive of toll charges.
